WM Test (CSS 5/2001, 100 Positions)

The test suite "Weltmeister-Test" (WM-Test) was developed by Dr. Michael Gurevich und Heinz-Josef Schumacher.
Manfred Meiler did an unbelievable job by testing more than 300 engines on an Athlon 1400 machine. One test could take over 30 houres!!! You can see his results in an Excel sheet in the original package.

As by many other test suites there was some big discussions at the time in the forums but I and the most other liked it.
Some of the positions seems not to be very clear but at this time the engines was not strong enough to clear this up.Now in 2024 we have NNUE engines that have ratings over 3600 Elo. I took the 5 strongest of them and reanalyzed all 100 position. I corrected the best moves of 18 positions. Now have fun with this old test suite :-)
