Time control influence on quality
A test where I used the CM11 Beth Harmon x64 setting to look how
many best moves it find on different time controls.
In practic I see engines take up to 5 sec. for a move in 40/2 and
up to 10sec. in 40/5.
As I know from my time as CEGT tester results will not much
differ in different time controls, mostly more remis but more
interessting games on long time controls.
On games between two CM settings a min. of 40m/5min is
recomanded.
Update 30 May 2022: because of a time bug in
Banksia the results for 40/20, 40/40 and 40/120 was corrected now
Update 12 June 2022: because of an error done by
me the tests have been redone and 8 core results added
