Back in August 2021 I updated my hardware and when finished I want to test the stability of the new system but I don't want to run prime for a day or two. So I decided to run chess engines. It's more fun to look as prime :)  Now it's running for 4 month at full speed without any issue. I think the stability test is ok now :)

Why this site?

As a former CEGT tester I ended computer chess around 2006 as the "Clonewars" began (Fabien Letouzey makes his code open source). Programmers from nowhere came with engines 2700 elo strong and some engines makes elo jumps of 300 and more (befor 15-30 per update) !?  Hmmmm....

Now the fun was comming back and I'm retired so I have the time to make things that I couldn't do befor. With todays hardware it's easy to make a bunch of games in short time. A1000 games test took ~4h to complete. Back in days this would have been taking ~5 days! Chessmasters King engine (8 Cores) is strong enough to beet any chess player in the world on todays hardware. I primary use engines up to max 2900 elo. Magnus Carlson as human world champion has 2855 elo at the moment.

I want to honor Chessmaster and share my tests with any who is interested.
