This is a new selection of positions from other suites. This suite should be used as a tool to get a first fast look of a setting or engine. I use Banksia-GUI with 22 parallel searches. A 20/40 run will take around 40min. In the Fritz-GUI it would take around 15 hours.

I use primary a time control of 40m/20min so that the engine can self decide how long it searches on a problem like in a real game (time management). As example I don't want that the search is cut after 30 sec when the engine has found it after 32 sec ...
There is a new column with expected Elo. They could differ much from real Elo ratings of played games! They only should give you a hint what can be expected. It's only a tool.
You can't use this Elo for a rating list because they show only the performance in this test!

Update 10.09.2022: Due to a bug in "Test Positions" there are no new tests done (10 runs / 5 different results). I will rerun the tests when the bug is corrected.
Update 21.03.2023: The time bug seems not to be fixable and also the standard time control is removed from the tool Testpositions. So I decided to use Banksia v0.53 for the tests and made a time correction when the avg time is over 10sec. I used Fritz14-Gui and run some tests to get the correct times. Now I was able to create a calculation for real times in Banksia. I rerun all tests.
29.06.2026: because of the buggy results with Banksia I rerun the tests now in the new outstanding Myracle-GUI. It will take some time...
