 ELO ratings for the different King engines

I was asked what is the strongest King engine. Many says TheKing3.23 (CM9000) is the strongest. I say no. But then I was thinking about one more test to clear this up. I used the 1000 games test herefor because all get the same conditions and the opponents are carefully selected. The factory defaults I have tested but there is the factor selectivity that is not optimal for some engines. So my first test was to get the best selectivity for all default settings. I tested some more sel. settings that you can see in the list because I aborted the test when the engine was more than 30 points behind the best after 600 games.



Looking on this list it's clear why CM10 has a bad reputation. Sel. 10 is breaking this engine! Results from CM9 and CM11x64 default couldn't be improved.
For max. ELO calculations I combined te best default with the best actual setting from my rating list. Minimum games per engine are 2000. I hope it's all clear now :)
